Description
Snowcapped peaks are reflected in the calm early morning waters of Moraine Lake, near Banff Alberta Canada. This lake is just a short drive from Lake Louise. I was here in the middle of July, and still the mornings are very cold. During this outting my hands were so cold that they ached and the batteries on my camera were fading fast. I forgot about the high elevation and did not go prepared for this cold in the middle of July. After the sun rises on these bodies of water they turn an Emeral Green color.
