This is the biggest, sand dune I have ever seen. It took about a half hour to climb.....how fun.....good exercise. And the view from the top......OH MY GOODNESS. What a beautiful site the Oregon coastline is. It is such a challenge climbing in sand, as every step feels a though you are getting nowhere. You sink into the sand and that is nice and warm, but it also slips away and sometimes you feel as though that last step got you no higher up the dune. It was fun, and with the cool breeze off of the water all was well.
On this day when I was here, there were many picnikers, surfers, and families discovering the marine life in the tidal pools along the beach and rocks. When the sea is stired-up some of the most spectacular waves can be seen crashing into each other and the rocky area just the other side of this huge sand dune.

I have an incredible love for the out doors, followed by my love to photograph all of creation. I have been doing this for many years and have quite a huge collection of images and prints. I think, without a doubt, that my favorite thing to photograph is the finite detail of nature, next would be wildlife, and scenics.
