Description
Harvest time in the Palouse of Washington State is a beautiful season. The expansive rolling hills of grain fields are golden as far as the eye can see. Countless acres of grain are harvested and stored up for food to feed us during the winter, spring, and summer months until this whole process repeats itself. Watching the fields change during the months leading up to harvest is ever-changing and each is beautiful. In the spring after the snow melts you can see perfectly straight lines in the fields where the green shoots are popping out of the ground. Later the buds of grain start to show up and then these fields of grain start to turn from bright green to the golden color that signals harvest time.

Excellent capture, Sharon! The golden tones of wheat make a powerful contrast with the brown cabin. Good job! g+ T L Vtd.
