Description
Old barns have come and gone in the Palouse Farm Lands. Some are preserved and this is one of the best of the best. I had so much fun doing this one. This was a spring wheat field, and barn that I see on my anual pilgrimage on Memorial Day weekend to my cousins in Central Idaho. Love this barn and I am so thankful to the folks who preserve it. It is an Icon that I look forward to seeing every year. It is kind of an old friend.
The sign on the front of this barn says "Palouse Country". The Palouse is an expansive and beatutiful place. You can't help but feel relaxed and at peace when visiting here. These farmlands cover a huge area in Middle Eastern Washington and Central Idaho.
